New Arrival: Cam Johnson

Another pickup for the “backup only” subset. Cam played 4 years at the University of North Dakota before joining the Binghamton Devils for parts of two seasons.

In January 2019, Cam got the call to serve as backup to Keith Kinkaid due to Mackenzie Blackwood being unavailable. Johnson dressed but did not play.

Can went into to play for several teams in the ECHL, winning the league’s championship in 2022 as goalie for the Florida Everblades.

I tried contacting Cam on several forms of social media to no avail. But, being persistent on eBay led to me finally finding this one. Great UND puck (which seem to sell for high prices even when unsigned), and with a “Go Sioux!” inscription. Happy to check another one off the list.
